Will my customers know they are talking to an AI?
Some might, but what they will notice more is how helpful it is. It holds a real conversation and knows your business inside and out, so callers get fast, accurate answers when they would otherwise reach voicemail.
What if a call needs a real person?
We can configure The Workline so a frustrated customer, emergency caller, or returning client can ask for a real person and get routed through immediately, based on the rules you choose.
Can it book appointments directly into my calendar?
Yes. The Workline reads directly from your calendar, so it only books open times and avoids double bookings. You control availability by blocking off time the same way you already do, with no new platform or extra login to manage. Each booking includes the call notes and job details directly in the calendar entry, so you know what to expect before you show up.
Does it handle texts as well as calls?
Yes. Customers can call or text, and The Workline handles both using the same business information, booking rules, and escalation instructions.
Can it answer questions about pricing or turnaround times?
It can answer whatever you want it to. If you prefer to quote after an on-site visit, The Workline explains why that visit matters and moves the customer directly into booking it.
What businesses are the best fit?
Businesses where customers call or text for information, quotes, or service appointments see the biggest impact. Trades, home services, real estate, and appointment-based businesses are a strong fit.
Am I locked into a long contract?
No. After customization, the service runs month to month. You also receive check-ins, adjustments, and monthly reporting so you can see how The Workline is performing.
What happens if I exceed the included usage?
Every plan includes 450 voice minutes and 500 SMS messages per billing cycle. Additional usage is billed at $0.39 CAD per voice minute and $0.05 CAD per SMS, with no surprise cutoff.
How does it work with my phone number?
You keep your existing number. We provide a new number for The Workline to answer. There is no complicated routing to set up and nothing to configure on your end.
What happens during the demo?
Ahead of your call, we build a rough version of The Workline using your actual business information. During the demo, you dial the number yourself and hear it work in real time, not a recording and not someone else testing it for you.
