Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 23, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of services provided by The Business Line ("Company"). By accessing or using the services, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and any applicable Service Agreement.

1. Acceptance

By using the Company's services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

2. Service Description

The Business Line provides intake automation infrastructure for inbound call answering, caller qualification, and appointment booking integration.

3. Acceptable Use

Clients may not use the services for:

  • Unlawful activities
  • Harassment or abusive conduct
  • Fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Spam messaging or unauthorized marketing communications
  • Any activity that violates applicable telecommunications or privacy laws

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for violations of this section.

4. System Limitations

Services rely on third-party telecommunications carriers, cloud infrastructure providers, and software platforms. While designed for high reliability, temporary interruptions, delays, or outages may occur.

5. Intellectual Property

All system configurations, workflows, scripts, software integrations, and proprietary processes remain the exclusive property of the Company. No ownership rights are transferred to the Client.

6. Modifications

The Company may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data.

Liability arising from the provision of services shall not exceed the fees paid by the Client in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
